Welcome to this part of my site about my Pocher model car Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Coupe, alias Dinner Jacket.
I purchased this model kit by a internet auction in 2002.
The Pocher line of models can be best described as some of the finest automobile kits ever produced.
They made exact, realistic 1/8 scale replicas of original automobiles, in this case a Classic model of a Alfa Romeo.

Beginning of the thirties developed the famous coach-builder Touring in Milan this
elegant coupe, which was based on a Alfa Romeo chassis. This black version was intended for particularly refined customers
and gave the car elegance and a breath of luxury. The sporty expression and the classically elegant lines connect in this
car the tradition of the Alfa Romeo with italian design admired in the whole world. This marvelous coupe is equipped with
2300 ccm 8 cylinders engine with roots compressor and can reach a speed of 170 km/h, which was a considerable performance
at this time.
